A French Romance - Burgundy
A bunch of us are getting together for a very cool brunch, where we will taste and sip 6 Premier Cru wines from Burgandy France, each paired with its own custom accoutrement (little bites).Come for the wine, stay for the conversation, and pretend you know more about Burgundy than you actually do. No judgment.Vegetarian and vegan options are available if you let us know ahead of time.Invite only. Small group. Five very good bottles and a ton of fun.

How did these sojourns start?
Great question. We love talking about the origin story of our little friendly endeavor. The Bay Area (non-SF) did not have enough cool options for cool women to congregate so we took it upon us to fix that problem. By hosting these intimate, experience oriented gathering, we make sure that our fellow females in the Bay always have options to do something new and exciting. Just because we are not in SF does not mean we should miss out .
Who hosts these gatherings?
Its a small group of female friends who host all these events. We believe in an offline human first community, so you can learn more about us by sending us a message or by joining us for one of our gatherings.
What if I feel that the event price too high?
Our motto is quality over quantity in everything we do and everything we source - we are bougie like that. If you feel uncomfortable with the cost of a particular event, check back for a future event that might have a more accessible price point.
How do I make the payment?
Drop us a text, we will confirm whether or not we can accommodate your for our next event (since we have limited spots) and if we confirm your spot, we will send your a Venmo or Zelle to make the payment at.
What happens after I make the payment?
Once your slot has been confirmed, we will add you to our group chat, where you can connect with your fellow attendees and learn more about the venue and other necessary details.
How big is the group size?
It can vary on the type of activity but on average you can expect 10-16 women per gathering.
What does Yūgen Toki mean?
Excellent question. It is a Japanese phrase that, when simplified, means 'the time to experience the awesomeness of the universe'.
